On Thursday, company officials will let the public know whether, or how, the spraying at the corrective action management unit affected the air.

The program will be held at Gary Public Library, main branch, 220 W. 5th Ave. It begins at 1:30 p.m.

At the quarterly public meeting, U.S. Steel representatives will also talk about closure of a hazardous waste disposal unit and a treatment plant, and about other cleanup activities.

For information, call (312) 886-0991 or 888-1094.
